Jessica Farkas is a Toronto-based social media and marketing specialist, and a photographer. She is an alumni of Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, where she received an AAS and a BFA in Photography, and a minor in Art History, all with Magna Cum Laude honours. Her work can be found in up and coming lifestyle magazine Downtown, FIT's student run newspaper W27, and on the Instagram and social media pages of Peanut Butter & Co, Refinery 29, dress company Faviana, and Dressometry. Taking pictures since her teens, she specializes in portraits, but has found herself shooting everything from dogs, to peanut butter, to make-up, to Andre Leon Talley and actress Piper Perabo.
More recently, she received a certificate in Strategic Marketing from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), and is looking to use her skills in the world of Social Media Marketing. Her social media and marketing acumen can be seen all over the social media pages and website of Yorkminster Park Baptist Church. She has also taken weekend courses at OCAD in website design and coding, as well as InDesign, and has multiple Google and HootSuite certifications.
Jessica is a Jane of All Trades who thrives on new challenges.
